ORDERING FAQs – GENERAL INFORMATION
What are your hours of operation?
The Sales and Administrative offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Production runs Monday through Thursday from 6:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. This allows us Fridays as a day for emergencies and rush orders.
What are your shipping & receiving hours?
Shipping and Receiving are open Monday through Thursday from 6:30 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. and from 12:45 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. Friday deliveries are between 9:00 a.m. and 3:45 p.m. by appointment only. No deliveries between 11:45 a.m. and 12:45 p.m. unless you just want to enjoy our break room and watch our crew eat lunch.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept most major credit cards including Discover, Visa, MasterCard, American Express as well as checks, and cash. Repeat customers with a solid credit history may be extended open account privileges at Net 30 terms as long as prompt payments are maintained.
What is your minimum order requirement?
We do not have one. We are a custom packaging manufacturer and we design and build the vast majority of our products from scratch and by hand. The best way forward is to complete a Contact Form on this site or contact one of our sales professionals directly for a quote.
Can I order a crate or box without crating services or shipping?
Yes, the majority of our sales are to companies that buy empty shipping containers to pack themselves. We can ship crates or boxes fully assembled, or KDF (knocked down flat) depending upon your requirements. But if you do need our help crating a large, heavy or complex job, we can come to your site and crate everything for you.
What if my company already has accounts with UPS or other carriers?
We can use your account number for shipment and we are happy for you to arrange for your preferred carrier to pick up at our location and bill you directly.
Are there any limits to the types of items you can handle?
Not yet! There might be an occasion when we choose to work with a proven partner for such things as HazMat (hazardous materials) or heavy rigging. We have crated a variety of two wheeled and four wheeled vehicles (clay bodies included), mining equipment, satellite equipment, aircraft parts, computer control cabinets, even a life size Sith Lord …and the list goes on and on. After doing this for well over 30 years, there aren’t many things we haven’t built packaging for, but if you have something we would welcome the challenge.
What is the required lead time to produce my order?
Typically these are not stock products, they will be custom made to-to-order and our lead times will vary depending upon the sizes, quantities and complexities of your order. Most orders can be ready for delivery in about 5 working days after receipt of a firm order (not the first time you make contact with us). Lead-time is also dependent upon our current production schedule and material availability. Your sales representative should be able to provide a firm delivery date.
Will my personal information be shared with any other organizations?
No. We do not sell or distribute any of our customer data.
