Reid Packaging maintains an extensive inventory of protective paper, plastic and foil wraps and cushioning foams to protect the contents of any box, or wood crate as the shipping, or storage conditions warrant.

Items shipped by sea container can face weeks to months of uncertain storage conditions at sea, or in shipyards and storage facilities. Sealable barrier bags are one of the most effective wrapping and packaging solutions available to protect against air and moisture damage caused by rain, humidity, moisture condensation, salt spray and other harmful or corrosive agents capable of penetrating exterior packaging. Combined with the addition of desiccant prior to sealing sensitive surfaces and electrical components can be protected from damaging corrosion while in transit. At Reid Packaging we have extensive experience calculating the proper amount of desiccant required for the volume to be protected inside the barrier bag and properly evacuating and sealing the protective bags before final crating, whether at our facility, or yours.
